Joe Kovacevich is a licensed psychotherapist practicing psychoanalytic psychotherapy in San Luis Obispo. Joe received clinical training at a leading community mental health clinic in Los Angeles where he treated a diverse population of individuals, couples, and families. He also worked at a well respected treatment center for teens and young adults where he worked extensively with mood disorders, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and OCD.

Throughout his career, Joe has received considerable supervision from several seasoned psychoanalysts. He is passionate about understanding the human psyche through a relational lens and approaches his role supporting in people while they cultivate insight and awareness with a deep reverence.
